Lisa Masri, MSW, LCSW joined AGAPE in January 2023 and works at the affiliate office in Lewisburg. Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her Master’s degree from Indiana University. Lisa believes it a privilege to walk alongside others in their journey to change and brings a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to therapy knowing that taking the first step to seek out counseling can be scary. Lisa has experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults addressing anxiety, stress management, depression, trauma, family relationship challenges, abuse, grief/loss, and life transitions. Lisa desires to create a safe space where clients can be authentic and vulnerable to explore their story. Lisa likes to use various interventions including the use of play, sand tray, talk therapy, art, and other types of attachment-based interventions. Lisa is trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brainspotting, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other attachment-based interventions. Lisa is also a certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist. Before joining AGAPE, Lisa worked in the home-based, school-based and community mental health care settings and currently also works in private practice in Franklin.
