Angela Scruggs

Angela Scruggs, Ph.D., LPC/MHSP, joined AGAPE in 2013. Angela is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation. She holds an M.A. in marriage and family counseling and a Ph.D. in psychology and counseling. Along with a Sign Language Interpreting degree, Angela is a Nationally Certified Interpreter and a Qualified Mental Health Interpreter. Angela has worked in both the deaf and hearing communities in the United States and abroad for over 10 years. Prior to coming to AGAPE, Angela worked as a mental health counselor for the South Carolina State Department of Mental Health, Deaf Services Department and at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind (SCSDB). She enjoys working with both deaf and hearing individuals, families and couples with a wide range of clinical problems. Angela sees clients at the main office in Nashville and the office at Watkins College of Art.
