We are excited to announce the addition of Ami Parker, MMFT as AGAPE's new Director of Social Services! Ami comes to us from the Tennessee Department of Children's Services where she served as Deputy Regional Administrator for all of Davidson County for five years.
“Her experience and training, combined with her compassion and enthusiasm for serving children in foster care, made her the right choice to lead our foster care and adoption program,” said Executive Director Chandler Means. Ami says she feels very blessed to live out her faith through her work at AGAPE. Ami is a faithful member of Cross Point Church in Nashville.
Jeff Fox, immediate past Director of Social Services, is transitioning to become AGAPE's first Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager. As AGAPE’s programs and services to children, families and individuals continue to grow, so too has our staff to more than 50 full-time, part-time and contract team members. Growth in our funding from foundations and the government, as well as our continued accreditation through CARF, requires a greater organizational focus on compliance to maintain these critical funding sources. Jeff’s experience in leading AGAPE thorough our most recent accreditation survey and his 24-year history and knowledge of AGAPE’s programs made him the best choice to lead the organization in this new role.
We thank God for His continued provision for the needs of our agency! To learn more about AGAPE's foster care, adoption, and maternity care programs, click here.
