First, I want to express our sincere and deep appreciation for your support of AGAPE, both financially and through prayer. Without each of you who faithfully support AGAPE’s mission and ministry each year, we would not be able to serve the more than 4,000 souls the Lord will call us to serve in 2020. Thank you!

As you know, we are living in uncertain times of culture, government and society. So in this letter to you, I want to reaffirm what the AGAPE Board of Directors adopted as AGAPE’s Statement of Faith in 2015 and assure you of AGAPE’s commitment to that statement and core beliefs.

This Statement of Faith serves to clarify and ensure ongoing faithfulness of the AGAPE community to God’s purpose and will. This document is read and signed by all those desiring to be and who currently are an employee, contract service provider, intern, board member or foster/adoptive family.

I want you to know that we are committed to carrying out the mission and ministry of AGAPE as we have for more than 50 years in accordance with our common and deeply held beliefs as outlined in our Statement of Faith. Regardless of unprecedented times and an increasingly secular post-Christian America, AGAPE will not compromise on what we believe is the teaching from God’s Word, to love God with all our heart, soul and mind and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

We stand boldly as a Christian nonprofit that serves and advocates for 1.) all life from conception to death, 2.) God’s creation of humankind in His own image either male or female from their physical birth, 3.) marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man, woman and God, and 4.) to love our neighbor as ourselves, especially the most vulnerable in our community.

While we are living in uncertain times, together we can take great courage from the words of God to Joshua, “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Our God is powerful and able to do far more than we could ever ask or imagine. God is faithful, and His presence of power and peace rule over all that swirls around us in our nation. We choose to trust Him and believe that He is in control. Nothing is too difficult for Him.

May God’s grace and peace be with you, and may God continue to bless the work of AGAPE,

Chandler Means
